Porcelain pavers are the ideal surfacing product to use with a pedestal system in rooftop deck construction. Not only are they much lighter than concrete paving slabs, but are available in an outstanding range of colors and styles including pavers that look like wood planks, pavers that resemble natural stone such as basalt, sandstone, travertine and quartzite, pavers with a modern cement look and pavers with a weather worn rustic appearance.

Because of their exceptional strength, porcelain pavers are not only used in residential applications, but are extensively used in commercial applications- rooftop restaurants and bars, around swimming pools, plaza decks, elevated terraces – wherever an elegant, low maintenance, frost resistant, stain resistant elevated deck is required.

The most typical size of porcelain pavers is 24″ x 24″ which can be laid directly over Eterno pedestals supported at each of the four corners only. For high traffic applications or at high elevations, a fifth pedestals  may be required under the center of the pavers. Archatrak also supplies protection mats and steel support trays for rooftop deck construction at high elevations, both of which are compatible with the Eterno pedestal system.
