How to install EzyPave
 |
Installation is simple DIY job that typically takes just
an hour or so for an average size patio. Firstly clear the
surface, then sweep off any loose dirt.
Unpack the pavers and starting in any corner, commence laying the
pavers by placing them in position, one by one. Pavers lock perfectly
and accurately into place with just a firm push...
there's no need to worry about inaccurate alignment, or
needing special tools, equipment or fittings.
|
 |
Everything you need is inside each box of
pavers. The only extras you'll need are a tape
measure, a sharp knife (or box cutter), and
maybe a handsaw or jigsaw plus screwdriver if
you need to cut any tiles to fit odd shapes etc. |
 |
And if you need to cut the
pavers to fit around posts, pipes etc, it's really no problem.
The pavers can easily be cut with any handsaw, jigsaw or power
saw.
You might however need to reposition some screws that
hold the wood slats so you don't cut them with the saw
and to ensure that none of the cut slats are hanging
loose. |
What maintenance is required?
Like any wood deck or wood furniture, EzyPave
will gradually fade to a soft silvery grey color over
time.
Although the pavers have a factory applied oil coating
which provides some extra initial protection from the
weather, if you wish to slow down the natural fading
process, a good quality decking oil should be re-applied
every 6-12 months depending on the climatic conditions
and degree of exposure to the elements.
